St. Louis Trip July 2013

So I've been really bad at updating this blog. But the Kids and I took a week long trip to my parents in St Louis, and there are tons of fun pictures to share!

The first thing we did was go to a Cardinals baseball game

 On Friday night we went to a carnival at my parents church

 Saturday morning the kids had stuffed animal wars when they woke up

We went to Grant's (Anhiser Busch) Farm

 We also went to the historic Soullard farmers market, and the kids enjoyed the tree swing and playing in the dirt outside :)

We had Xavier's first pictures with Santa taken. They turned out pretty good (I hope Xavier left some cuteness for Baby 2). Enjoy

Halloween

Happy Halloween! For our first Halloween Xavier was a Lion. We went to Grandma and Grandpa Childer's house for dinner and a little trick-or-treating. We met our cousin Grant, who was a tiger, grants parents, an Aunt Ashley who was our Zoo Keeper. We had a little camera mishap, so we had to make due with Mommy's cell-phone camera, but at least we got some cute pictures, enjoy!

Pumpkin Patch

Since the Pumpkin Patch is so crazy on the weekends Daddy's left work early so we could go this afternoon. Xavier seemed to really enjoy all of the different things to see and all of the other people/kids.

We fed the goats and sheep, Xavier petted them, and they nibbled his fingers.

We watched the pig races and Xavier stood right next to the fence and watched the pigs run right by, even though they smelled.

We went to the Pumpkin eating Dragon show, but Xavier was bored so we walked thru the Storybook Barn instead.

We picked out pumpkins with our little pumpkin.

And ended our adventure with making/eating our first S'More

First Haircut!

Since Xavier was born with so much hair, he's already need a couple of trims to keep it out of his eyes. But last weekend Daddy said it looked like he was growing a mullet, so I decided to take him in to get his first real haircut.

We went to Family Fun Cutz, because they specialize in kids hair cuts. Xavier got to sit in a "car" and watch an Elmo DVD! He did really good, he didn't fuss or cry at all, he was a little squirmy because he kept trying to find what was making the snipping sound.

6 (ish) month pictures

Just a quick post this time. We finally got Xavier's 6 month pictures done today (they've been delayed due to a high number of facial bumps and bruises). I ordered a few prints of the first two poses. If you like prints of any other poses let me know ASAP, since The Picture People only keep them on file for 48 hrs.
